The Spine Foundation sponsors research to revolutionize spine-specific patient care, functional recovery, and access to the world of occupational and recreational activities.
The Spine Foundation was established to raise awareness about the global impact of spinal disorders, how they affect you regardless of who you are, where you live, or whether or not you are a patient. The importance of spine care research and the need for funding are top priorities.
Our research committee, consisting of medical and non-medical stakeholders, meets on a regular basis to examine the latest advances in the diagnostic and management strategies pertaining to spinal disorders.
As a team, the research committee members plan, develop, and post a suggested research agenda and grant opportunities. Investigators from all over the world review these suggested areas of study and apply for grants. If approved, the research committee follows the work of selected researchers and keeps our members up to date on their progress and findings
